Our family life in the local area began in 1866 when Robert Hodgson moved from Crook, County Durham to Seaton Carew.

George Hodgson 1867-1870

Thomas lived in Seaton Carew and served during WW1 with the Durham Light Infantry.

He was awarded 1914-15 Star, 

British War Medal and Victory Medal.

George served in the Hartlepool 

Home Guard during WW2 and was awarded the Defence Medal.

Next Generation

George Thomas Hodgson 1939-1945

Colin served Hartlepool as a Paramedic for 32 years. 

He was awarded the Queens Golden and Diamond Jubilee medals and the long service ambulance medal. He also spent some time working as a pall bearer in Hartlepool.

Next Generation

After working as a Funeral Director (2000 - 2004) Paul joined the Royal Navy in 2004 and served on HMS Kent in Operation Telic, Iraq. 

He was awarded the Iraq medal.

He returned to hartlepool in 2009

Emmett George Hodgson is 8 years old and  attends primary school in Hartlepool. We hope that one day he would like to follow in his parent's footsteps and join the family business.
